-Start of career in 2005 in Japan-

I’ve worked at various style of massage place such as hotel day spa, relaxation massage shops, seated massage place, aesthetic salon. Through that experience, I had gained a range of technics and experiences in Japan.

-Moved to Australia in 2008-

With that experiences, I moved and started working as a therapist in Australia, where I completed a Diploma in Remedial Massage in 2016, Advanced Diploma in Myotherapy in 2017, while working as a therapist at a busy massage practice in Australia.

With ample real world experience under my belt, I started my own practice, Urara Myotherapy & Remedial Massage, in 2020 in Melbourne, where I had the opportunity to assist various types of clients ranging from retirees to sports enthusiasts and professional athletes, and many others in between. On this note, I take pride in having assisted professional AFLW athletes recover from injury and general maintenance during season by sports massage as well as myotherapy. While working at a solo practice, I've also learnt Pilates as a part of exercise prescriptions which is helping to restore the posture and muscle imbalance.

My main goals for treatment is provide a personalised treatment plan tailored to meet each client needs, with various skills such as deep tissue, trigger point, Swedish, stretching, advice for collective exercise to improve your body conditions.

60mins - ¥6,000

90mins - ¥9,000

We can work on: head, neck, shoulders, lower back, legs, arms, hands, feet, hip (dry massage)

60 minutes treatment may not have enough time for whole body depending on your conditions. For whole body treatment or if you have tight muscle tensions or multiple conditions, we recommend booking a 90 minutes treatment.

Each session starts with pre-treatment consultation, which does not count towards the 60 / 90 minutes treatment time.

Our treatment style is with massage oil.

Dry massage is also available upon request. Please advise the therapist if you have concerns, e.g. allergic reaction.
